Abstract

The estimation of evapotranspiration (ET) and subsequently plant water requirements needs to consider the heterogeneity of plants, soils, water, and climate characteristics. Methods of estimating water consumptionuse empirical equations, which express the correlation between the total water consumptions and climatic factors. Where, the amount of evaporation from water surface is a function of temperature, humidity, wind and other ambient conditions. The results concluded that, the correlation coefficients for the perennial grasses, cabbage, corn, and potatoes were 0,926 ± 0,119; 0,927 ± 0,118; 0,907 ± 0,133; 0,928 ± 0,118 respectively, indicating high correlation between these attributes.
